Antony Chang :
Dr. Chang has been the Chief Financial and Economic Advisor of the Paradigm Group since the founding of the group in 2000.
Currently, Dr. Chang is the Chairman and President of the US Institute of Investment, which offers license and investment training in California, and an Emeritus Professor of Department of Finance at Shih Chien University in Taiwan.
Dr. Chang has an extensive experience and achievement in the fields of economics and finance both in the universities and industries of Taiwan, US, China and Singapore. On the public policy side, he was an Economist at the International Monetary Fund. Later, he was an Advisor and Director of a foreign exchange forecasting training program for the Singapore Monetary Authority. He also was an advisor to the Prime Minister of Taiwan on policies of opening Taiwan financial markets to private investors. And, later, being invited back to Taiwan to be a member of the "Futures Market Committee" to write up the "Futures Transaction Act" and directed the initiation of the Taiwan Futures Exchange.
After Dr. Chang came back to Taiwan to help the government to set up Taiwan derivatives markets in 1993, at the same time he founded ADM Investor Services Taiwan Inc., a subsidiary of ADM Investor Services Inc., a FCM and clearing members of CBOT CME and NYFE, which is a subsidiary of NYSE listed Archer Daniel Midland Inc., and acted as its the President.
Dr. Chang holds a BA in Economics and Physics from Fu-Jen University and a MA in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania under the direction of Professors Robert J. Shiller, Sanford J. Grossman and Wilfred J. Ethier. He has taught Economics and Finance in many universities in US, Taiwan and China, such as Temple University, California State University at Los Angeles, Northrop University, Fu-Jen University, National Sun Yat-sen University, Soochow University, National Taiwan University, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Xi'an Jiaotong University and etc.. Dr. Chang also was a registered SEC Investment Advisor, CFTC registered CTA and CPO and NASD registered Securities and Option Principals.
